Warm and Spicy Winter Soup

As the weather begins to turn for the darker and colder months, using spices such as ginger and cayenne and warming some of our food dispels any myth that raw food is for summer months and warm countries only!

One easy way to make a warm soup is to blend a lukewarm herbal tea into the mix as in this recipe.

Ingredients:

16 - 20 fluid ounces vegetable juice with1 head celery, 1 small beet, 2 carrots, 1/4 small red onion, 2 cloves garlic, a thumb of ginger, 1 lemon, 1/2 cup soaked hemp seeds, pinch sea salt

1 avocado

1/2 red bell pepper

1/2 cucumber

pinch of salt and cayenne

1/2 cup warm yogi classic tea

Blend all ingredients and garnish with some tasty dehydrated crackers and cubed raw goats' cheese, alfalfa sprouts and/or kimchee.
